I know, I know, health care advertising. Just a lot of smiling doctors in white coats and patients enjoying the heck out of being in a hospital. Thankfully, Kaiser Permanente has broken the mold when it comes to compelling creative in the health care space. Below you'll find some of my favorite KP work from over the past few years.
Flu Shot PSA
This video was originally suppose to air on the jumbotron during Warriors games, but the client liked it so much they decided to air it as a TV spot as well. This version is the unrated agency cut.

Some shoots are filled with helicopter shots, massive explosions and craft service tables with lobster bisque and caviar - this was not one of them. On a small budget and with a skeleton crew, I flew to Colorado to shoot this hero video for the brand new KP Colorado web site.
Content is king when it comes to the web. Finding engaging content is usually the number one challenge while working on a new site. For this project, KP had an abundance of content, but no organization. I worked as both the main writer and Creative Director on this site starting from initial strategy and wire framing to design, writing and development. In the end, we delivered a curated site that allowed users to easily search and find relatable articles, videos and blogs based on their interests.
