Jeff specializes in high concept stories explored through grounded characters and worlds. Think Ex Machina, Black Mirror and Fargo. Sometimes all three at once.
He has a background in advertising where he worked as a writer/creative director for over fifteen years. Jeff has been a part of countless productions for some of the world’s biggest brands, like Twitter, Chevy, Honda, and U.S. Navy.
In 2019, Jeff made his directorial debut with the short film, “Talentless”. His short films have won multiple awards and have played in festivals all across the globe. He was named a fellow in multiple directing fellowships and has developed TV shows and films with some of the industries biggest names.
Jeff’s currently developing multiple projects with the intent of making his feature film debut soon.
AWARDS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
In 2022, Jeff was named a fellow in the BLACKMAGIC COLLECTIVE’S DIRECTING ACTOR’S LAB.
In 2021, Jeff was named a DIRECTING FELLOW IN THE BLACKMAGIC FIRST FRAME INITIATIVE.
Jeff’s debut film “TALENTLESS” was named a winner of the 2020 Stage32 Short Film Contest.
Jeff’s short film “A SMALLER BIG BANG” won BEST DIRECTION as well as BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY at the BlackMagic Collective Film Festival.
Jeff won BEST DIRECTOR from the “Night of the Comedy Festival” for his short film “Caged.”
Caged also was won BEST ACTING DUO from the independent Shorts Awards.
