When I was in grade school, I took a field trip to see a local Michigan community theater group perform Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart.” That performance had a profound impact on me. In fact, it was a major reason why I eventually become a storyteller. “Bury Me” is a modern re-imaging of Poe’s classic yarn about murder, guilt and what weighs on our conscious.
