Conflicting Reports is Coming Soon
Inspired by Orson Welles’ War of the Worlds radio play. All electricity is down. Transportation isn’t working. The world is completely cut off from each other— except for two mysterious broadcasts. One claims that aliens have arrived and are peaceful. The other says they’re hostile invaders. For one couple, the only way they’ll survive the night is by knowing which source to believe.

Why I Made Conflicting Reports
The idea for this film started when I randomly thought about the original Orson Welles’ War of the Worlds Radio play.
I wondered how people would react today if something similar happened. But soon, I realized like everything else, it would be met with skepticism and mistrust.
After the last few years, I’ve seen firsthand what happens when society is splintered by different realities and sources of “truth.”
This is a story about faith and what happens when human beings stop trusting each other. It asks a simple, but incredibly relevant question…
Who do we believe, when we don’t know who to believe?
